| About This Tea |
Much has been written about the restorative properties of herbs and flowers and the Hibiscus is a prime example. In Hindu worship, the beautiful and highly fragrant blossoms of the Hibiscus plant are used as offerings to the goddess of time and change, Kali, and the god, Ganesh, widely revered as the remover of obstacles. Maybe adding Hibiscus to your daily routine will open spiritual and mental blockages! If this sounds far-fetched, remember that Hibiscus was designed by Nature to make you feel good.

| Enhance is the perfect tea for an afternoon spent in quiet reflection, a cup to fall in love with. This amazing combination of organic green tea and natural dried lavender offers a soothing pick-me-up that is perfect for sipping any time of the day. |
| About This Tea |
| Lavender has inspired feelings of love and calming relaxation for millennia and in India the fragrant flowering shrub has long been associated with the Heart Chakra. Chakra is an ancient Sanskrit word for the seven centres of spiritual energy in the body and the Heart Chakra has a powerful association with love, joy, happiness, honesty, compassion and connection with other people. In the West, there has also been a long tradition between lavender and love. In England, on St Luke’s Day, young women looking for a husband would sip lavender tea and sing. The Romans prized the flower for its ability to soothe the body, calm the mind and restore the spirit. |

TIBET - RHODIOLA TEA |
| Tibet Rhodiola tea helps the human body to overcome altitude sickness and cope with the lack of oxygen. |
| About This Tea |
The first thing you will notice when you unwrap a Tibet Rhodiola tea is that it resembles a tiny bird’s nest. It is thought that this tea helps the human body to overcome altitude sickness and cope with the lack of oxygen. Buddhist monks who lived at the base of the Himalayan Mountains likened the sensation to that of a soaring Booted Eagle of Tibet, as this eagle could soar to great heights without hindrance and make its nest at high altitudes. In homage to this bird, the tea was manufactured to resemble the bird’s nest.
|
| Tibetan Rhodiola (Latin: Rhodiola rosea) is itself an extremely rare plant that grows at between 3500 & 5000 metres. In recent years, the popularity of the plant has soared throughout China and the West, particularly Western Europe. The plant is considered one of the world’s purest as the air and soil are at such altitudes some of the most clean on the planet. Tibet is produced using a 1st Grade Sichuan Black Tea has a pleasant rosy sweet taste, if slightly musty, add a dash of milk (and sugar) as this can enhance the flavour (in Tibet fermented Yak’s milk is usually added), but also can be drunk without! |
| Ingredients |
| First Grade Sichuan Black Tea, Rhodiola & Honeysuckle |
| Brewing Notes |
| Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil and place 1 Rhodiola nest per 3 cups of tea in a teapot. Let the water cool slightly to approx. 86C before pouring into the teapot. | About This Tea |
These tea blooms were inspired by Tiffany lamps. There is a story that an American, when visiting a tea plantation owner, took a Tiffany lamp as a gift, which was then displayed prominently and visible to all who passed the house. One evening, an artisan, who worked on the plantation, became so mesmerised by the beauty of the light and colours emanating from it, that he was inspired to create something of his own. He took a handful of the finest green tea leaves and also some wild rosebuds and with great care tied them together with string, making them into a shape that evoked the lamp.

| About This Tea |
These tea blooms were inspired by the Tengchong volcano! The story goes that one day, an artisan who lived near the volcano, felt a tremor and decided to appease the universal forces in order to save his life and business. Wisely, he worked with local plants, believing their roots in the region’s volcanic soil would lend power to his creation. He tied exceptional green tea leaves from one of Yunnan's finest tea gardens with Amaranth, Hibiscus and Lavender blossoms. He believed that concealing the floral burst within the tea would spiritually represent his hope that the volcano's lava would be forever trapped inside the mountain, since when the volcano has not erupted.
