AUTUMN VALLEY
Autumn Valley green tea comes from Antu Valley Nepal which is located close to the Darjeeling region of India at an altitude of 500m, where the climate is cool and wet. The leaves are medium sized and slightly curly with some unfermented leaves and both silver and green tips. It is a well balanced aromatic green tea with a slight sweet flavour and flowery after taste, a typical Nepalese character elegant and mild.

THE MUSE
The Muse green tea contains gingko leaves, pink peppers and small wild strawberries. This is a green tea full of surprises, with a wonderful aroma and taste to match.

JASMINE CHUNG HAO
Jasmine Chun Hao green tea was initially reserved for the Chinese Emperor’s Imperial Court. Sweet smelling jasmine flowers are picked fresh in the morning and kept cool until the evening, when the flowers start to open; they are piled next to the tea in very precise proportions. It takes about four hours for the tea to absorb the jasmine scent and this is repeated seven times over a month. This is a real specialty! |

| BLACK TEA |

LAPSANG SOUCHONG
This tea originates from Fujian province of China. The Fukienese word ‘souchong’ means sub variety – and is sub variety of other black teas from the Wuyi mountains of Fujian. These high mountains with thick pine forests and heavy mist provide the ideal environment for growing top quality tea. The leaves are first withered over fires of pine and cypress wood, and then pan fried and rolled and placed in cloth covered wooden barrels and left to ferment until the leaves smell fragrant. The leaves are then fired again and placed in bamboo baskets and hung on wooden racks over smoking pine fires, giving this tea its very distinctive aroma and taste.

ASSAM TGFOP
Bukhial is a very special tea estate owned by the Williamson & Magor, the world's largest family owned tea company, it covers 2052 acres of which around 1420 acres is tea plantation. Bukhial is located in Golaghat District of Assam, close to Nagaland where wild elephants still roam. Rainfall in this area is modest, making near perfect growing conditions as the tea bushes grow slowly, which gives this 2nd Flush its mellow and distinct malty character. It should be to be savoured and contemplated. From an Ethical Tea Partnership estate. |
EARL GREY
Earl Grey Ceylon black leaf tea is blended with oil extracted from the citrus Bergamot fruit and strewn with cornflowers. Stories vary as to how this tea got its name – one tale is that a British diplomat, sometimes it is Earl Grey himself, saved the life of a Mandarin and was given the recipe as a token of thanks; another that it was a gift for a successful diplomatic mission, however it is likely that none of the stories are true and just a marketing ploy whatever the truth, this classic scented tea has become synonymous with British teatime. It is probably the best selling scented tea in the world with a distinctive flavour and aroma. The tea is a blend from high growing plantations in Sri Lanka - Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula and Uva where classic “Ceylon” tea is produced with a floral bouquet and mild astringency that makes a bright coppery colour infusion just a perfect base for this tea, then only natural oil flavours and blue cornflowers are added giving this tea a clean and true character. |

This process gives the tea its distinctive colour before being finally dried. Rooibos is naturally caffeine free and is rich in Vitamin C, iron and magnesium. |
AFRICAN MIRACLE
African Miracle honeybush tea is harvested from Cyclopia Intermedia, a scented plant with yellow flowers and trifoliate leaves, which is cultivated around Haarlem in South Africa.
